Project Prerna- School Kit Distribution for Underprivileged Children
Project Prerna is a flagship educational support initiative of Promising Indian Society dedicated to ensuring that children from marginalized and economically disadvantaged communities have access to essential learning resources. The programme seeks to remove financial barriers to education by providing school kits that enable students to participate confidently in their academic journey.
Recognizing that access to basic educational materials remains a challenge for many families, Promising Indian Society distributes comprehensive school kits containing school bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential stationery items. These resources not only support learning but also encourage school attendance, enhance student motivation, and foster a positive educational experience.
As part of this initiative, a large-scale School Kit Distribution Drive was conducted in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, reaching more than 10,000 underprivileged children from rural and marginalized communities. The programme helped alleviate the financial burden on families while ensuring that students had the necessary tools to pursue their education with confidence and dignity.
