Project Prerna is a technology-enabled education initiative of Promising Indian Society aimed at bridging the digital divide and expanding access to quality learning opportunities for students from underserved communities. By providing Shiksha Tablets loaded with educational content and interactive learning resources, the programme empowers students to learn independently, strengthen digital literacy, and enhance their academic performance.

As part of this initiative, Promising Indian Society conducted a Shiksha Tablet Distribution Drive in Dibrugarh, Assam, providing 500 educational tablets to students from rural communities. The intervention helped introduce technology-based learning to regions with limited digital access, enabling students to explore educational resources, develop essential digital skills, and improve learning outcomes. The initiative created a wider community impact, benefiting more than 50,000 students and community members through enhanced access to educational technology.

The programme was further expanded through the Shiksha Tablet Distribution Initiative in Ahmedabad West, Gujarat, where 620 students from economically disadvantaged families received pre-loaded learning tablets. These devices provided access to digital classrooms, online tutorials, educational applications, and interactive learning content, helping students remain connected to modern educational opportunities and overcome barriers created by limited access to technology.

Through Project Prerna, Promising Indian Society continues to promote inclusive and equitable education by ensuring that students from marginalized backgrounds have access to the digital tools and resources required to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world. By investing in digital learning today, the initiative is helping build a future-ready generation equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive.
