Project Swar Milan – Music for Empowerment and Livelihood

Project Swar Milan was launched to support traditional folk artists and strengthen cultural livelihoods by connecting local talent with modern opportunities for learning, promotion, and income generation. The initiative seeks to preserve rich musical traditions while enabling artists to build sustainable livelihoods through their craft.

Under the project, grassroots musicians were provided opportunities to enhance their skills through professional exposure, recording support, and access to modern platforms for showcasing and distributing their work. By bridging the gap between traditional art forms and contemporary audiences, the initiative helped create new avenues for cultural preservation and economic empowerment.

Through Project Swar Milan, more than 10,000 artists and community members benefited from efforts aimed at strengthening cultural identity, promoting traditional music, and enhancing livelihood opportunities. The initiative continues to demonstrate how cultural heritage can serve as a catalyst for both community development and economic resilience.
